GAZA AID: Serving the Families of Gaza with your Help
March 2024 represented an important moment for those of us at Team Humanity: After working from Cairo, Egypt for nearly half a year packing aid trucks bound for the Rafah border, we were granted unprecedented access to enter Gaza and work directly on the ground.
We have been working around the clock to secure essentials like fresh vegetables, hygiene kits, and water tankers and bring them directly to the impacted people of Gaza who have been struggling to survive due to the constant bombardments, attacks, and blockades.
Through collaborations with local and international partners, we have been able to serve smaller refugee camps and areas that are often missed by larger distribution projects because of damage to the roads. Being a leaner team enables us to operate in a more agile way and bring the aid directly to the people who need it most.
These food, aid, and water deliveries are a cornerstone of our work in Gaza, and are only possible through the generosity of compassionate people around the world, and the groups and foundations that support us. Alongside our distributions, we do our best to bring joy and smiles to the children of Gaza. We have been able to throw several “circus days” in refugee camps, featuring celebrated local figures like Aloosh the Clown, songs, games, and activities to lift children’s spirit despite the circumstances.

Despite the hardship and danger, our mission remains steadfast. “We will stay until we are forced to leave,” says founder Salam Aldeen.
